Deployments
Months, not a weekend. Your dog lives in the house during the day. Overnight, dogs sleep in a kennel, and they are kenneled at meals.

Colorado Springs military families
Long-term in-home boarding for deployments, TDY, field problems, and long schools. Same house, same family, photo updates while you are gone. Not a kennel row.
Who it is for
Months, not a weekend. Your dog lives in the house during the day. Overnight, dogs sleep in a kennel, and they are kenneled at meals.
NTC, JRTC, long courses, and field problems. Drop off before you report. Pick up when you are back in the Springs.
Spouses, dual military, and caregivers who need a real home while one of you is gone. Meet and greet before the first stay.
The stay
Fenced yard, cameras, and a dog door when the house is awake. Jaxon and Tobby already live here. Oral and injected medication if your dog needs it. Photo updates — on Rover, every booking has included them.
House rate is $40 a night for the first dog and $30 for each additional dog. Rover lists $50 including its fee. No separate military price is published; ask when you request dates if a longer stay changes the quote. Holiday dates add a fee, confirmed in the reply.
Long military stays: a commander verification notice is required because of the length of the stay. It is a short formal confirmation of the dates and a point of contact, so the pup’s care can be planned for the full time you are gone. Mountain Pup will send it after the request. It is not a Department of Defense form.
Not affiliated with the Department of Defense, Fort Carson, Peterson, Schriever, or the Academy. Serving Colorado Springs service members and families.
Free meet and greet so the dogs and the house are a fit. Bring records and any meds routine.
Day or night. Emergency bookings if orders move. The form emails Care@ and texts the shop phone.
Pictures while you can receive them. Same family at pickup. Jake’s two dogs stayed seven nights through a move — longer orders use that same setup.
